So you think it's okay (or necessary!) to treat a "crazy" person as crazy or a "stupid" person as stupid.
Let's use a hypothetical guy named Crazy Chris as an example. You know, the one you called not the sharpest knife in the drawer, not the brightest bulb in the box, not all there.
He hears, or hears about, things you have said about him. How you describe him... how you see him... as a set type... as a lacking or bunch of lackings... as negativity. He knows what you mean by it, or he wouldn't feel hurt by it or be upset by it. If he's not upset by it, he still knows what you mean by it... but is either scared to show it for fear he get hauled away foe being even crazier, or treated as even more delusional... or he knows you aren't worth getting upset over in that way. (And I don't mean you're less worthy of whatever... I mean you're more than picking on people!)
And he knows how you treat him, how you look at him, your vibe around him, even if you never said a word about "crazy" around him and tried to hide it in your attitude and presentation and actions.
It's the likes of you-- and your past and/or present "superiors" in society-- that have put, left, and kept you in a a situation where he's seen as crazy and where you'd better see him as crazy too or else they'll call YOU crazy. Where one is crazy for questioning their label of crazy, but if they don't question it that is ALSO seen as evidence that they are crazy.
Confirmation bias here is what's crazy. Not any human being or other live organism.
You know how it hurts like literal hell whenever someone treats you like you are crazy or stupid? Well, it hurts Crazy Chris the same way, and just as badly, just as intensely, and just as complexly when you treat HIM or his friend "Stupid Stan" like either of them is crazy or stupid. A person is a goddamn person. There is more than one way to present and show sentience. Working in an office isn't the only way to show intelligence. Owning property and settling down isn't the only way to display or express sanity, and shouldn't be the only way to prove it either. Existence should be enough to prove snetience, and therefore worth, intelligence, positive values.
Think I'm too idealistic? Nope, the problem here is you're too cynical to the point where it defeats the purpose of it and is actually very UNrealistic, because your life is very UNSustainable... you have given up on everything other than... whatever that is you're doing, which won't last. Death of a fucking salesman!
